The one-hour online event will be held on May 11, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. and is targeted to senior bank executives, risk managers, audit professionals, compliance officers and others with responsibility for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, capital management and risk strategy at their financial institutions.

The session will feature a series of presentations from Richard Pike, Director of the Comit Gruppe and a frequent global speaker on the subject of operational risk management.  Richard will cover a range of topics including: 

   - Current trends in operational risk management
   - Compliance-driven operational risk, including Sarbanes-Oxley and the COSO framework
   - Quantitative operational risk, including Basel 2 requirements and KRIs

In addition, participants will hear from Hans Helbekkmo, Managing Director of ERisk, who has an extensive background in the area of risk and operational risk consulting, with particular expertise in loss analysis and operational risk as a driver of economic capital. Hans will focus on the topic of how banks can leverage their investment in operational risk solutions to enhance overall enterprise-wide risk management & strategic decision-making.
