The Implementation Transformation

A subscription-based license for Abacus is more than just the acquisition of a software application for best practice credit and capital management. In fact, a license to Abacus is a fourteen-week transformation of your critical credit and capital management data, processes and practices.

The objective upon completion of an implementation is to provide our clients with the capability to manage and measure risk across the entire enterprise by integrating their data, customizing the modeling and data integration framework to reflect the client’s environment and to train any client personnel who will have ongoing responsibility for the use of ERisk Abacus.

Through the customized implementation process, Ambit ERisk’s Financial Consulting organization works with your internal team to:

• Set the foundation of your project including the identification of your critical goals and objectives
• Gather the data necessary to generate the parameters and analysis, including the use of Ambit ERisk’s comprehensive and proven benchmarks where internal data is insufficient
• Develop the parameters (PD’s, LGD’s, Correlations) required to drive the calculations
• Develop a custom data interface, unique to your feeder systems, to be used for updating the Abacus system on a go forward basis
• Generate Economic Capital and RAROC results at user-defined levels of granularity
• Develop comprehensive reports for regulators and various levels of management, including the Board

The end result is a repeatable, proven process for consistently generating risk and capital management results for use in driving your most critical business decisions.
