The BAI Loan Review Conference is the only national conference designed for loan review and credit risk review professionals, and delivers insights into current credit risk management trends and best practices.

Mr. Nakada co-presented, with Guaranty Bank's Harry Goulding, Senior Vice President and Director - Asset Review, and Chris Henkel, Credit Risk Management Analytics Officer, a session entitled "Commercial Credit Risk Management: Strengthen Your Risk Rating Framework". The speakers discussed a number of critical issues in commercial credit risk management, including:

- Creating a dual risk rating scale

- Integrating rating tools into the underwriting and loan review process

- How rating tools are being used to improve commercial credit risk management

The presentation included a case study and business justifications for investing in these credit risk capabilities.
