ERisk Expands Sales Force To Better Serve Growing Demand For Enterprise Risk Management Solutions

NEW YORK, NY -- ERisk, the leading provider of risk and capital management solutions, announced today that it has named Phil Dinsmore as Vice President of Sales, Tom Wilson as Regional Sales Manager - West Coast, Paul Kern as Regional Sales Manager - Midwest, Mark Biedermann as Regional Sales Manager - Northeast, and Scott Satterfield as Regional Sales Manager - Southeast. The new appointments are the latest in a series of initiatives by ERisk to expand its specialized software and service offerings, which are targeted to financial services organizations and designed to help clients reach their risk measurement and capital management goals.

ERisk's newly expanded sales team is led by Phil Dinsmore, a senior sales executive with over ten years of experience in business development and relationship management. As a Business Development Manager for KPMG, Mr. Dinsmore headed consulting sales to Fortune 500 clients out of the Short Hills, New Jersey office. Mr. Dinsmore also served as Applications Sales Manager in the Financial Services Group for Oracle Corporation, where he sold Oracle's enterprise risk management, profitability and CRM products to major financial institutions. Prior to joining Oracle, Mr. Dinsmore was the Vice President of Consulting for Sendero Corporation, where he helped guide leading financial institutions worldwide on risk management and profitability issues.

"The major expansion of our sales team will allow ERisk to more effectively service our North American clients and provide regional sales coverage for the growing number of firms interested in our products and services," explained Kerry Williams, ERisk's President. "As the need for enterprise risk management solutions continues to grow, our need for an experienced relationship-driven sales organization is also growing. We are leaping forward with these additions."

ERisk's regional sales executives were selected due to their significant understanding of the needs within ERisk's target market for sophisticated risk management solutions. Tom Wilson's experience includes fifteen years of financial services and risk management sales. Tom most recently headed sales for Outsource Financial LLC and also served as a Vice President and Regional Sales Manager for IPS-Sendero Corporation throughout the 1990's. Tom will have responsibility for the West Coast and Southwestern regions.

Paul Kern comes to ERisk by way of one of the company's first clients, CoBank. Paul has almost twenty years of experience in financial services risk management, most recently as Vice President & Risk Manager at CoBank. As a former client and ERisk Analytics software user, Paul's knowledge and practical management experience will be an invaluable asset to other ERisk clients. Paul will manage sales in the Midwest region.

Mark Biedermann has over ten years of sales experience with East Coast financial services organizations with specializations in corporate debt structuring, investment banking and credit management. Prior to joining ERisk, Mark was a Vice President with National City Corporation, were he helped to establish National City's mid-Atlantic presence. Mark will head ERisk's Northeast region.

Scott Satterfield, who has been with ERisk for two years, will continue client relationship management efforts in the Southeast region, headquartered out of the Washington, DC office.
